Resort Information
Lazise is one of the most picturesque resorts on Lake Garda with a lengthy history and lots of typical Italian charm. Surrounded by ancient walls, the town is dominated by the magnificent 14th century castle. Life revolves around the beautiful medieval square, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants line the streets around the little port. There are plenty of shops of all sorts here; from handicrafts and local produce to the most famous of Italian brand names. Lazise is also very well placed for access to Gardaland and the Canevaworld water park.
Walking
Lazise is surrounded by beautiful countryside dotted with cypress trees, perfect for leisurely strolls or more lengthy hikes. A walk along the wine route will take you past vineyards and olive groves with lots of possibilities for tasting, and purchasing, the local produce.
Activities
All the usual water sports are on offer in Lazise. There is windsurfing and water skiing from the Camping Serenella near Bardolino and there is lake bathing from the shingle beaches. Speedboats can be rented from Lazise. Lovers of mountain biking will have lots of opportunities of exploring the local hills along panoramic gently sloping paths. Horse-riding in the surrounding hills is also possible from nearby Pastrengo.
