Classic Lakes & Mountains (Lucerne & Wengen - 7 nights)
Combine a 3 night city break in cosmopolitan Lucerne with 4 nights of peace and tranquility in the mountain resort of Wengen. Whilst in Lucerne explore the numerous museums, drink a cappuccino in a lakeside café and explore the cobbled streets of the Old Town. Move on to traffic-free Wengen where the tinkle of cow bells will replace the bustle of the city and there are a wealth of mountain walks and activities.
On the heels of Bond, James Bond (Interlaken & Ascona (Locarno) - 11 nights)
Follow in the footsteps of James Bond, by visiting two of the most iconic sets. From the film 'On her Majesty's Secret Service' take a trip to the top of the Schilthorn Mountain and the Piz Gloria revolving restaurant. In the restaurant, which was the villain's lair in the film there is now a James Bond exhibition with memorabilia and film clips.
From the opening scene of 'Golden Eye' visit the dramatic Verzasca Dam. Should you wish to follow in Bond's footsteps you can also pay for the privelege of diving off the the 25th largest dam in the world. For the less adrenalin fuelled, the dam is a man made masterpiece set above the town of Locarno on Lake Maggiore.
Peaks and Palms (Zermatt & Lugano- 10 nights)
Spend 3 nights in the pretty, traffic free resort of Zermatt enjoying the pure mountain air and exhilarating mountain walks in the shadow of the famous Matterhorn. On your 4th day take the picturesque train journey (through the Domodossola pass) down to Lake Lugano with its distinctly Italian feel. Spend a week relaxing by the lake or take a day trip to one of the enchanting fishing villages such as Morcote or Gandria.
